Mathematical data, no drawings

Concept’s formulas allow you to generate quotations from mathematical data, without any reference to drawings of the parts to be produced. This speeds up the creation of quotations. What data are required? Concept considers the cutting perimeter, the breakthrough number and the cutting speed, based on the technology tables of your machine, by material and thickness.

Bending variables

Concept is designed to meet specific needs in the sheet metal working, carpentry and metalworking sectors. This vertical nature translates into specific formulas that take bending variables into consideration. Furthermore, based on the material and size of the part to be produced, Concept assesses the number of operators involved and the processing time, in order to create realistic quotations

Does the production of a part require different processes? There's no need to enter technical data over and over again: Concept automatically finds the shared technical data and uses it functionally.

Data connection covers both internal and external processing. When an item requires processing by a third party, Concept takes the technical data already entered into consideration when creating the quotation.

We carried out an integration with the design software Inventor. The possibility to program between three-dimensional drawing environments and the BOM has turned out to be fantastic. These days, if a management software isn’t as fast as a click, it’s of little use in a company like ours that performs custom design. A machine that is 50% standard with the other 50% requiring customisation every day, or you’re able to transfer a BOM the moment you have the 3D design. Today we’ve cut the time from design to ordering the materials and starting machining by I think at least 50/60%, maybe more.

We had tried various management systems, the first one for a year, the second for two years, through to the last one, which we used for almost seven years.
