It was in 2004 that Luca Peirotti began writing the code for Concept, the software that would soon make him a market leader in his field. Four years later, Azerouno was birn, the company where Luca succeeded in revolutionising the concept of management software in the metalworking industry.
Azerouno’s strength is its ability to look to the future, innovate and find solutions that simplify our customers’ work. The name “Concept” comes from the fact that when its founder started writing it, he was talking about something evolved, a concept that by its very nature is futuristic.
The name originates from the code of the first company that was created within Concept’s database: A01, which was based on the combination of Company 01 (i.e., the first company created) and moving ahead “to zero one”, i.e. digitally.

2004
First row of code
Luca Peirotti, CEO & Founder of Azerouno, writes the first row if code
for Concept.
2005
First office
The first office is set up, in Corso Galileo Ferraris in Cuneo, where the writing of the code intensifies. Luca is joined by Gianluca Pellegrino, Azerouno’s current CTO and Luca’s classmate from his school days.
2006
First customer
The first Concept is installed for our first customer: MA-BO S.r.l., a carpentry which employed 15 people at the time. After the first difficulties, the project went live and conquered users thanks to the fact that it makes their daily work easier.
2008
Azerouno S.r.l. is born
Azerouno S.r.l. is founded and becomes the software house that develops and distributes Concept.
The offices are in Centallo (CN) in Regione San Quirico, 672.
2010
Relocation to Savigliano (CN)
Azerouno grows year by year and starts to take off. It reaches 20 customers and relocates to Savigliano. Five people now work in the new offices.
2014
The design of a new logo
Azerouno reaches 80 customers and changes its logo, giving Azerouno a fresh and stylish image. The slash representing the computer code and the colours red and black link it to the past.
2017
200 customers and relocation to new offices
Azerouno reaches 200 customers and has 15 employees. The new, modern and comfortable offices better represent Azerouno’s new image: no longer a small company, but one that is gaining ground fast.
2020
Customers double and new dealers are acquired
Azerouno continues to assert itself on the market becoming undisputed leader. After the great success of the 2019 trade fairs and despite the COVID-19 pandemic, growth continues in double figures every year, and the astounding number of 400 active customers is reached, along with the support of 10 resellers throughout Italy.
2021
A new look
Azerouno gets a makeover and changes its skin. A new path of change and growth begins. Azerouno’s success has always come from word of mouth. This change shows those who still don’t know the company what it is capable of and how it has grown over the years.
2022
Leader of Growth in Il Sole 24 Ore
Azerouno adds a new office to its headquarters, while the company surpasses 600 customers and now has a staff of over 30 employees. As testament to its excellent work and constant development, Azerouno receives the Leader of Growth award from Il Sole 24 Ore for the second year running.
2023
Azerouno takes over Why S.r.l.
Azerouno Nord-Est S.r.l. Is born, with the takeover of 80% of the share capital of Why S.r.l., the Padua-based long-standing partner company which shares the same values and company policy. This is an opportunity that givess Azerouno a consistent company presence in northern Italy, particularly in the Triveneto area.
Azerouno is a Software House specialised in the metalworking sector, which sells products and services designed to simply manage and improve the various production phases of a company, digitising its processes.
