The ideal candidate will participate in software installation and user training activities in the areas of logistics, production and administration. These activities will be performed at customer premises throughout Italy.
You will be in charge of analysing flows and processes relating to the management system used at customer companies. You will analyse and communicate any needs for changes to be made to the software according to customer specifications and will be in charge of staff training.
In the office, you will be involved in customer support via ticketing systems and remote assistance software. We are offering a permanent contract.

Characteristics of the profile:

We are looking for someone bright with excellent interpersonal and interface skills. You must have a technical background and have experience as a technical instructor as a consultant or employee. You must be able to interact with the various levels of the company and must also be proactive, have a strong work ethic and be willing to travel; you will be expected to travel frequently to customers throughout Italy, particularly in Northern Italy.

• Degree in Management Engineering or Economics
• Knowledge of business problems and flows (Active Cycle, Passive Cycle, Warehouse, Production Cycle, Administrative Areas, etc.), especially related to the production sector
• Knowledge of management software / ERP
• Proficiency in the most common PC applications (Windows operating system, Office Automation products, e-mail, etc.)
• Customer relations skills, initiative, autonomy and aptitude for project work
• Good command of the English language

The following skills will also be an asset:

• Knowledge of SQL databases and language, specifically Microsoft SQL Server and Transact-SQL
• At least 2/3 years’ experience in similar positions
• Knowledge of administration and accounting
• Willingness to work in a team

Work area:

The ideal candidate will develop our ERP management software and related tools. The goal will be to develop and effectively achieve the implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of application software dedicated to customer companies.
In particular, the resource will focus on the development and design of a series of tools dedicated to the main software to create data import tools, integration tools with third-party software or communication software with machinery as well as becoming a resource in support of the customer support department for the detection and correction of bugs and anomalies.

Features of the wanted profile:

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Solid knowledge of object programming
• Expertise in developing and designing desktop and web-based applications
• Competence in the design of relational databases, especially in the Microsoft SQL Server environment
• Good command of the English language

In addition, the following powers shall constitute a preferential right:

• Knowledge of VB, C#
• T-SQL language knowledge and knowledge of Trigger, Stored Procedure or Function SQL
• Predisposition to team work

• Expertise in web based application development and design
• Good knowledge of Linux environment
• Good knowledge of JavaScript, typescript, React, HTML5
